GNBR Route Files
A fee is charged to access the route files for the Great Northern Bikepacking Route. This is to ensure the various route segments stay up-to-date and also to help cover the costs incurred to develop and then maintain the route. Once the segments for the Canadian provinces and American states for the GNBR are created, it’s a large task and a major time commitment to steward them. This includes populating each route segment with numerous Points of Interest. Some may try to avoid paying by using route files sourced from elsewhere, but often these are out-of-date and not accurate, leading to a less satisfactory riding experience. Every purchase supports bikepacking in North America and beyond.
